Welcome to our 16th anniversary issue of WHOLifE Journal. It is hard to believe a year has already gone by since our 15th anniversary celebration event. Time is certainly speeding up and I’m sure we are in for exciting times ahead.

Each year, I love the transformation as we move from the cold, bleak winter into the long, bright, sunny days of spring. It is as though we awaken just like the trees do and, like them, we begin the process of blooming. We come out of our homes and are able to linger in the arms of nature and feel the gentle breezes on our cheeks and the warm sun glistening in our hair. It feels so glorious to be outdoors and connecting with the land and the sky once again; to be dancing along through the woods and beside the trees with all the nymphs and fairies, and the angelic beings. The songbirds are back in the trees singing so beautifully, while the gulls and geese are emitting their usual peeping and honking sounds as they soar across the sky, wings flapping occasionally on their way down to the river. It is like waking up from a dream of sleeping and suddenly everything around is moving and alive.

Soon we will be planting our seeds and watching them grow, being vigilant to fertilize and water them, so they can generously provide us with nourishment and sustenance. I love the fact that more people on the planet today are making attempts to live in harmony with our natural environment. Folks everywhere are starting to realize the extreme importance of honouring the earth from which we are fed. That’s why I feel it is so important to support our local growers and farmers and to learn to grow and to eat food that is produced locally, rather than having it travel thousands of miles. It’s about having a light footprint and paying attention to how we walk on the earth. Are we walking with intention, or mindlessly? Whatever the case may be, we each create our own reality, so as individuals we are the ones responsible for what happens in our lives and our environment. We can’t blame what is outside us. For me, this was the key to waking up and creating a happier and more fulfilling life. More people now are waking up and getting into communities where we can support each other, and that’s why these are such exciting and exhilarating times. It’s about joining together in oneness and creating peace on earth. What can be more blessed? Nothing.

I feel that each issue of WHOLifE Journal is contributing towards peace on earth, because it draws to it all those individuals in our community who believe in creating health, happiness, joy, and prosperity in all walks of life, and for the highest good of all. WHOLifE is about community and coming together to provide information and inspiration to all of us who are walking together on this path of life. Whatever form the contribution may be, it is being done so we can all grow and expand and become the whole beings we are meant to be. It is for all these reasons and more that I feel truly happy creating the journal. So, thank you everyone for joining me in this issue, and all past issues, and for being of service to the whole. We have a vibrant and loving community for which we can all be truly grateful. My wish is that the light you shine may be a beacon of hope and comfort to all our companions in these rapidly changing times.

Once again, we have a full house of advertising and articles, all meant to help educate and enlighten. There are many gifts and treasures in each of the articles and the ads, so be sure to read each one. The most important thing to remember is they all come generously to you from a deep place of caring and love, and are given as gifts to be shared by the entire community, both near and far. Please contact me with any ideas you are inspired to share with others, as the folks in our community are eagerly awaiting to read the next issues.

Blessed be!

May you feel the warm winds of spring softly touching your skin, and may this remind you of your own sweet, gentle nature.

Namaste
(The Spirit in me honours the Spirit in you)
